Going through most of the James Bond films one senses that this collection of spy films has a lot to do with the popularity of casinos and one guesses that some form of Royalty should be offered to the great Ian Flemming by them if not already done so. There is something about being at a casino that makes you feel like 007 or perhaps one of the Bond girls for the female readers amongst you. You walk in, you see the red carpet, the gold slot machines, roulette wheels spinning, one or two big security people, it all seems like you have been selected as the main bad guy for the casino and it is up to you to win something decent.
Many always tend to look so sinister too, the way they walk, act, talk, is all part of their own little film in their head that amounts to as much real action as the Big Brother finals. The scenery at casinos is something spectacular, especially if one visits some the top-notch ones that are available. It is not so special when you start to lose however and one of the greatest things that can be done at a casino is eat and drink as much as you like as they want you to get drunk and loose loads of money. For the strong minded who just want to bet $50 and leave at that it can be brilliant to have waitresses come over offering you free drinks and sandwiches and come the end of the evening you should be feeling pleasant enough to know when it’s time to hit the bed. So many casinos have now moved to provide 24 hours game play meaning players can sit at tables all night in the hope of winning something back. Whilst not a good thing for those who have more money that sense it can be a good thing to come back after breakfast knowing you can still stick a few dollars on 8 black. Now that there are so many online casinos, the land-based versions have their work cut out, especially those that do not offer the 24/7 gambling service. Regardless of all that goes on behind the scenes to get more players playing one doubts there will ever be the same experience online and off it.
